Swazi Battle Axes
Pair of handmade Swazi ceremonial axes, wooden handle with metal head strapped to handle using hide. Both hand forged blades are in good. The blades are firmly joined to the haft.
PROVENANCE
These two were actually made in Botswana as it was just coming out of colonial era. Brought home by a Peace Corp working in the southern African region in the 1970s.
