2 Hand made and hand-painted clay tiles. This pair has very vibrant attractive colors. They are very similar to glass decor tiles called vitrails.

The term vitrail (derived from the French word, though the l is silent in Persian) refers to painting on glass, very similar to stained glass. This art form can still be seen today in some Iranian churches, but it is also popular for creating Persian miniatures. The collage art in this section includes elements of vitrail as well as mirror work, and paintings. The collage combines lovely hand-painted ceramics with a contemporary Persian miniature design. Small mirrors are actually incorporated.  The size is about 6″ square.
